Mission

The City Manager's Office encourages and motivates the direction of all departments, offices and agencies of the City, prepares and submits the annual budget and capital improvement programs to City Council, and administers the annual budget adopted by the City Council. The City Manager and staff act as liaisons among City Council, citizens and City organizations, and represent the City Council and City staff at various meetings and conferences.

Major Responsibilities

• Administers the day-to-day operations of all City functions and services
• Prepares and administers annual budget and capital improvement program
• Communicates information to citizens regarding City programs, initiatives, and actions via multiple media outlets
• Handles daily requests from citizens and departments
• Initiates planning for new programs
• Provides quality service delivery by maintaining a highly qualified work force
