ecoCoppell Corps
What is ecoCoppell Corps?
EcoCoppell Corps is a group of volunteers that have been through the EcoCoppell Corps comprehensive training on green and sustainable living. They have committed to take action in greening their own lives and extending that to the community through ecoCoppell outreach and involvement programs.
Who should apply?
Coppell citizens that are interested in being a part of ecoCoppell Corps should have a basic knowledge of, or interest in, environmental issues; enthusiasm for acquiring and sharing green living knowledge and skills; an ability to communicate effectively; and, the time and willingness to participate in environmental education activities and projects.
How do I become a part of ecoCoppell Corps?
To become a member of the ecoCoppell Corps will require acceptance in the program through application, including a background check, attendance in the 12 hour training, and participation in 24 hours of volunteer service. Service will enhance the existing programs, like the KCB Green Team, school recycling, community ecoCoppell outreach and events, and more.
