Mission

To provide public education, involvement opportunities, and services that conserve and protect our region's air, water, land, and human resources.

Community Outreach

The City of Coppell has many programs to educate the public on environmental issues and actions that can be taken on an individual and daily basis to make less impact on the environment. With the City of Coppell ecoCoppell initiative to take a more comprehensive approach, the existing community programs focusing on the environment have been expanded to include a wider scope. To the left is a listing of all community outreach and education programs available throughout the year.

Community Programs works with organizations, churches, schools, and businesses to reach everyone in the community wanting to learn more about sustainability and environmental issues.
