In support of the mission statement and to reach the NFPA standard of a 4-minute response time, the city is divided into three fire districts.  Each district has a fire station located in the center of the district that houses the primary response equipment and personnel for that district.  As warranted, other engine and medic companies may also be dispatched to an incident within another district.
