Vicki Chiavetta, Director of Library Services, joined the William T. Cozby Public Library in January, 2009. She previously worked for the City of Garland Libraries as Public Services Administrator and the Flower Mound Public Library as Technical Services Manager. She is a member of the American Library Association, the Public Library Association and the Texas Library Association, PLANT and the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association. She has served as a Delegate Leader for the Texas Library Association’s Legislative Day and has been active on TLA, North Texas Regional Library System and Texas Municipal Library Directors Association committees. She currently serves as a member of the Texas State Library’s Electronic Information Working Group, Secretary of District 5 of the Texas Library Association, and Secretary for PLANT.
