What is KidzConnect?KidzConnect is an award winning summer program that is designed to give children a place to learn and play! KidzConnect is known as a "Kidz University", meaning there are many classes to choose from to set their own curriculum. Our staff is highly trained individuals, mostly who work within our local ISD's.
Who is KidzConnect for?KidzConnect is offered to boys and girls ages 4-12 years. There are two different age groups within KidzConnect. The 4-6 year olds will have a specific set of classes that they will attend everyday, while the 7-12 year olds will have a list of classes to choose from every hour.
When and Where is KidzConnect held?KidzConnect will go for three weeks in June; June 11-15, June 18-22, June 25-29. Class time will be offered from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and will be held at Coppell Middle School North, with "Daily Connection" beginning at 8:00 am and pick up time from 5:00-5:30 om.
Is there additional care for before and after hours?YES! We know there are parents that work and we are here to accommodate them as well! Kidzconnect offers and extended care program from 7:00 am - 8:00 am and 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. The cost for this program is an additional $30/ week.
How to register:First, you need to make sure you complete a registration form by clicking on the link above (coming soon) or picking one up at the Coppell Aquatic and Recreation center. Once you have done this, you and your camper can look through the classes to pick a schedule of their own! Then visit the Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center to register for the classes and pay at that time! No phone registrations will be allowed! Please note that registration will close the Friday prior to the camp start date. No changes or registrations will be allowed after that date!
What do campers need to bring?Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch with them daily. Keep in mind the site has no way to heat or cool a lunch, so please plan accordingly. Wearing sneakers is a necessity, due to the different activities they may be involved in each day. Please dress campers appropriate to their course schedule. All items brought to camp need to be clearly labeled, The City of Coppell and its staff are not responsible for any lost or stolen items!
