Get Down with Safety

Life Safety Park, 820 S. Coppell Rd.

About: Students in this class will learn about basic fire safety elements, such as Stop, Drop, and Roll, the importance of having a home fire escape plan, and understanding smoke alarms. After this short classroom portion, students will then meet with a firefighter to learn about his/her safety gear. Registered students will then be given a quick overview on jeep operation before getting drive time around Safety Town.

Cost: Free!

Requirements: Children enrolled in this class should be in Kindergarten or 1st Grade ONLY.

Things to Know:

  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to class time
  • Please dress yourself and your child accodingly for outdoor activities
  • Candid photos may be taken
  • Parents are required to stay with their children for this class**

**This class involves use of the battery-operated rovers by students, and as such parental supervision is required to help maintain a safe learning environment for all students and class attendees.
