Meet A Firefighter!

Life Safety Park, 820 S. Coppell Rd.

About: Together with a firefighter, students will read a fire safety book aloud, while practicing the exercises described in the book along the way. Once students have successfully mastered Stop, Drop, and Roll, and calling 9-1-1, students will walk to the Safety Town Fire Station to learn about firefighters as community helpers. He/She will don and describe their bunker gear, and even let students get hands-on with some of the equipment. If time remains, all class goers will have the opportunity to explore the fire engnine and police car.

Cost: Free!

Requirements: Children enrolled in this class should be in Pre-Kindergarten ONLY.

Things to Know:

  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to class time
  • Candid photos may be taken
  • Parents are required to stay with their children for this class
