Fire, Vehicle, & Pedestrian Safety

The Coppell Life Safety Park is offering free safety education programs during Coppell ISD spring break. From Monday, March 12th through Friday, March 16th, LSP will offer a wide range of safety topics for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. The programs will last approximately one and a half hours, and will include an interactive classroom lesson culminating with hands-on learning time outside in the Safety Town.​

Course: Fire, Vehicle, & Pedestrian Safety (w/ Rovers)

: This course is designed to teach K-1st graders about basic motor vehicle and pedestrian safety topics. Students will also learn basic fire safety skills, such as learning when to Stop, Drop, and Rolls, creating home exit plans, and appropriate reasons to call 9-1-1. Students will be given time to drive rovers around the outdoor Safety Town.​

: Children enrolled in this class should be in Kindergarten or 1st Grade ONLY. 

Things to Know

  • Registration is required
  • Bring a government-issued photo ID
  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to class time
  • Candid photos may be taken
  • Parents are required to stay with their children for this class

This class involves use of the battery-operated rovers by students, and as such parental supervision is required to help maintain a safe learning environment for all students and class attendees.
