CozbyCon Art Contest

Attention all artists! Submit your comic book/anime drawing to win prizes and be featured in the library! Winners will be announced at CozbyCon on May 12. Coppell Women’s Club

Historian, writer and physician Dr. John W. Boyd is the author of Images of America—Parkland Hospital as well as The Stories Behind Our Cities Streets, the human stories behind 55 historic Grapevine street names. His book on Parkland traces 120 years of medicine in the Dallas area—from frontier outpost to premier medical center. Guests welcome!

Theatre Coppell - Communicating Doors

A specialist from the future stumbles into a murder plot that sends her, compliments of a unique set of hotel doors, traveling back in time. She and two women who were murdered in 1998 and 1978 race back and forth in time trying to rewrite history and prevent their own violent ends. The frantic race begins when Poopay is hired for an evening at the Regal Hotel by an old man who eschews a fling in favor of confessing his role in the demise of his wives. Now a target, Poopay opens a door and somehow triggers the time machine.

This is an annual celebration of the life-changing work of libraries, librarians and library workers. Libraries aren’t just places to borrow books or study—they’re also creative and engaging community centers where people can collaborate using new technologies and develop their skills and passions.


The Martian Movie Event

Connections Luncheon

The Connections Luncheons and the Connections Program are a great way to meet Chamber members, Chamber staff, Ambassadors, members of the Board of Directors and like-minded business leaders. Bring your business cards, co-workers and friends to this great networking opportunity.

SPOT Screening

Lions Club members will conduct a preliminary eye screening for various visual impairments. No prescriptions will be issued. A signed and completed waiver form is required for each child. For children 6 months to 5 years old and any child with special needs.

Earth Fest

This year, the City of Coppell will host its beloved Earth Fest at the Coppell Farmers Market! There will be Earth-conscious learning for grown-ups and kids. Plus, freebies and expo booths will be set up from 8 am-noon on the lawn next to the Farmers Market pavilion.


35th Annual Coppell Community Gala

Candidates Forum

The Coppell Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a candidates forum for the upcoming May 5 election on Tuesday, April 17.

Coppell ISD candidates will start the forum from 7-8 pm, followed by the City candidates from 8-9 pm.

Ronda Kay Moreland, of 660 AM "The Answer" and executive producer of the Mark Davis Show, will be the guest moderator.

Coppell Chamber Community Luncheon

Speaker Neil Turner is a 2003 graduate of Coppell High School and a graduate of the Coppell Teen Leadership program, predecessor of Teen Leadership Coppell (TLC). Turner received his bachelor's degree in management from Texas Tech University in 2007 and his master's in interdisciplinary studies, with a focus on entrepreneurship and real estate finance in 2009. After earning his master's degree, he workedfor Stone Advisors as a contractor of the FDIC, overseeing approximately 38 bank closures as he traveled the United States. He then worked to form a joint venture, GearingStone, and focused on the revamp of Dallas' Lower Greenville Avenue.

Five years ago, Turner decided it was time to apply all of his studies and work experience, and began working for, and later opening, his own franchise stores of iFratelli's Pizza, under his partnership company, Thomas Carstens Holdings, LLC.

Turner is a hometown success story and will be talking to the TLC grads about his experiences and why it's OK to take a different road than the one that you think you are destined to follow.


Food Day for Kids

A whole market day will be dedicated to teaching the significance of food and farming in our daily lives. Join us for free, kid-centered activities, like: petting zoo, learning demos, garden activities and make-and-take crafts.


Home Expo

The Home Expo showcases businesses that deal with buying, owning and maintaining a home. 

Vendors range from real estate, mortgage, tile, interior designer, home protection services, yard design and maintenance, heating/air conditioning, plumbers, painters, remodelers, builders and more.

These businesses will be promoting their products to the community and potential homeowners. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about these important home ideas and options.


Cosplay Crafternoon
