Coppell was ranked high on several of Niche.com's recently released Best Places Lists for 2017. The website, which analyzes public data sets to develop profiles and rankings for every K-12 school, college and neighborhood in the U.S., includes several categories such as Best Places to Live, Best Places for Families and Best Places to Buy a House for suburbs, cities, neighborhoods and more. Rankings in each category are based on a number of factors depending on the category including crime, quality of schools, cost of living and diversity. Coppell earned the following distinctions:
Top marks in Public Schools, Housing, Diversity and Jobs helped Coppell receive an Overall Niche Grade of A+. Other contributing factors included Cost of Living, Outdoor Activities, Crime & Safety, Nightlife, Weather, Health & Fitness and Commute.
