Coppell Residents are Invited to Provide Input for Future City Visioning

Following the Think Tank which was held in June, the Vision 2040 initiative is now moving out into the wider community for input. This initiative is a large-scale community visioning project that will ultimately create the Vision 2040 Strategic Plan. Central to Vision 2040 are in-depth community engagement efforts with a strong emphasis on transparency, diversity and inclusivity. As a part of this effort, residents are invited to participate in one of the community engagement sessions in August through October. There will be opportunities at several venues around Coppell to accommodate various schedules. Upcoming sessions include:

Monday, August 13 |  3 – 4:30 pm or 7 – 8:30 pm
Cozby Library and Community Commons  |  177 N. Heartz Rd.

Wednesday, August 15  |  11 am – 12:30 pm or 6 – 7:30 pm
Life Safety Park  |  820 S. Coppell Rd.

Thursday, August 16  |  1:30 – 3 pm or 5:30 –  7 pm
The CORE  |  234 Parkway Blvd. (Free child watch service provided at this location.)

Everyone is welcome, and RSVPs are appreciated. Please select your selected session time above to RSVP.

In each session, Coppell residents will discuss future preferences for the year 2040, provide input around critical issues facing Coppell.

Additional engagement sessions will be held on September 10-15 and October 1-5, and more details are forthcoming. A community wide survey is also available now on the project website.
