Cruise into Halloween at a Safe Distance

Roll into Halloween with a sweet ride through the City of Coppell's Halloween Candy Cruise! Join City of Coppell departments, along with local businesses and organizations for a socially distant twist on trick or treating. On Saturday, October 24 between 4 and 6 p.m., participants of all ages will be able to remain in their vehicle while cruising through the parking lot at the Coppell Senior and Community Center, located at 345 W. Bethel Rd. Social distancing guidelines will be in place. All candy distributors will be wearing a mask and gloves, and drivers are asked to wear a mask in their vehicles.

Vehicles will make their way through a parking lot filled with spooktacular, family-friendly tents to collect pre-bagged treats while supplies last. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the fun by dressing in costume and decorating their vehicle in a fun, festive way. "Even though Halloween looks a little different this year, it can still be a lot of fun! We're excited to bring this opportunity to the community and can't wait to see all the costumes and Halloween spirit." said Tiffany Anderson, Community Engagement Manager with Coppell Parks and Recreation.

After cruising through the lot, families will have the opportunity to briefly exit their vehicles for optional photo opportunities. Only one car at a time will be permitted at each stop. Those who choose to skip the photo op will be allowed to make their way safely out of the parking lot and back out to Bethel Rd.
