The following events are happening in and around Coppell during the month of December. If you are a non-profit organization and would like your event to appear in the monthly city event calendar, please email the Communications Department at news@coppelltx.gov.​


Animal Services Supply Drive

Through December 20  |   Cozby Library and Community Commons

Are you interested in donating supplies to Animal Services this Christmas? After a year-long renovation, Animal Services needs to replenish its stock of supplies. Starting in December we will have an ornament tree by our front desk listing needed supplies. Please turn in donations by December 20. You may drop off supplies at the Library or at Animal Services so you can see the renovated building!

The Assistance League's Christmas in Coppell Home Tour

December 1  |   10:00 am – 2:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm   |   4 Homes

The four beautiful homes on the tour this year are the Hightower home 137 Natchez Trace; the Reed Home 1522 Coventry Court; the Sewell Home 1511 Coventry Court and the Witt Home 500 Rolling Hills. The Home Tour will include a $20.00 (cash only) wine pull at the Witt home during all viewings.  Raffle ticket will be sold for $5.00 or 3 for $10.00 at the Hightower home for a fully decorated Christmas Tree valued at $1,100.00 donated by Heaven Sent.

Theatre Coppell - The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

December 1 – 3  |   Friday and Saturday 8:00 pm and Sunday 2:30pm   |   Theatre Coppell

In this hilarious holiday classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most awful kids in history.  You won't believe the mayhem – and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head-on!

A Holiday Concert – Coppell Community Chorale

Coppell Community Chorale celebrates the season in song - allow us to bring joy and cheer to your holidays. A free admission concert will be presented to the community Saturday, December 9, 7pm at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Coppell. This family friendly concert features treats for the kids and sing-along songs for all ages.

Connections Luncheon

 The Coppell Chamber Connections Group encourages business growth among members by referrals and participation. It is a fact that people like to do business with people they know. Bring your business cards when you come to the meetings and be an active participant!

 Visitors are welcome and encouraged! Visitors may attend twice before they are asked to join the Chamber.

 Meets the second Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am and the fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:00 am.

Gov't Affairs Speaker Forum

The Governmental Affairs Committee has historically taken on the role of educator in the political arena by providing monthly round-table discussions on issues of importance to the business community.

Governmental Affairs hosts the Annual State of the City Address, Candidate Forum as well as other events throughout the year.

The Career Fair – Looking for Volunteers 
January 27  |   1:30 – 4:30 pm   |   Cozby Library and Community Commons

We are looking for people in different careers that are willing to come talk to teens, give them insight to different career paths and help them make a decision on what they might want to major in/do when they grow up. Each presentation will last no more than 20 minutes, allowing possibly 10 to 15 minutes before and after for attendees to ask any questions they may have. We have a number of different time slots available
