Zero Waste Living

Reduce your carbon footprint by learning how you can lower your waste and plastic usage which will help you save money, live healthier, and live in a way that benefits the environment. In partnership with Tiana Lightfoot Svendsen.


Fall Prevention and Dementia

Coppell Lions Club Meeting

The Coppell Lions Club meets every 1st and 3rd Monday. Each meeting includes the discussion of current and planned activities, as well as frequent guest speakers who discuss issues in and around Coppell, North Texas and Texas as a whole.

Meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend. You can contact the club and arrange for a member to sponsor you into the meeting.

Love is in the air! This Valentine's Day season enjoy making an aesthetically pleasing shadow box out of roses and sunflowers. This long-lasting box is sure to be filled with love and be kept for a long time. Feel free to bring your favorite flowers or anything you'd feel would complete your box.


Theatre Coppell – You Can't Take It With You

One member of the Sycamore family makes fireworks in the basement. One has a printing press in the parlor. One practices ballet all the time without getting any better. One writes bad plays that no one ever reads. The tax collector is told by the family patriarch that he hasn't paid his taxes for years because he doesn't believe in the income tax. The story reaches a comic climax when an upper-class couple comes to dinner on the wrong night and is assailed by all the mayhem. But if the Sycamore family is mad, it becomes clear that the rest of the world is madder.

You Can't Take It With You opens Friday, February 7 at Theatre Coppell and performs on weekends through Sunday, February 23. Tickets are $20 for Adults and $17 for Students/Seniors. Coppell Lions Club 34th Annual Pancake Breakfast

February 8  |   7 – 11 am   |   First United Methodist Church Rotunda

The Club serves over 350 people between 7 and 11 am. In addition, the Carter Blood Mobile will take blood donations, free eye exams will be given and free Diabetic Screening will be available. Placemat Ad Sponsors helped the club raise money for CHS graduating senior scholarships, eyeglasses for underserved Coppell students and for Christmas food baskets for Coppell families in need as well as supporting the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and the Texas Lions Camp for special needs children.

Tickets are only $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family for "all you can eat" pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy plus coffee (or milk for the children)!

Join your friends and neighbors for this fun event and help families in Coppell and around the world. There is NOT a better Saturday Breakfast deal anywhere!


Coppell Farmers Market

Free CPR Class

CPR AED is an instructor-led course that teaches critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency situation until emergency medical services arrives. Skills covered in this course include first aid, choking relief, and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants.  Please register online at LifeSafetyPark.org.


Earth's Caretakers: Live Animal Show

Choose between the 10-11 am show or the 11 am-Noon show! Every animal is hard at work throughout the day, night, or both! Learn more about decomposers, pest controllers, recyclers, and rodent controllers and how their jobs impact their environment. Space is limited. Register in advance at coppellactivities.com


Be Mine, Valentine Dance

Create magical memories at this annual father/daughter dance. This year, we are rolling out the red carpet to make you and your child feel like stars! Celebrate special moments throughout the evening for a night to remember. The dance will be held at a new location this year, Four Points by Sheraton Dallas/Fort Worth Airport North in Coppell. All guests will enjoy a dinner buffet complete with an ice cream bar! The first two tickets purchased are $30 each and $20 for each additional ticket. Coppell Panhellenic to host "SORORITY 101"

Are you curious about sorority membership? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then be sure to attend SORORITY 101, hosted by Coppell Alumnae Panhellenic Association (CAPA). This will be a one-time informational session providing detailed information about sorority membership in general, and the sorority recruitment process. FCNP – Raptors of North Texas

Erich Neupert, Executive Director of the Black Land Prairie Raptor Center, will return to the Biodiversity Education Center to discuss and demonstrate these great birds. Better Angels Workshop

Better Angels is a national non-profit organization made up of Republicans and Democrats that work together to address the growing divide in political thought in our country. This workshop will look at ways to bring back civil political discussions to our communities. Beginning Robotics

Introduction to Vegetable Gardening

Just in time for planting season! Get tips on organic vegetable gardening and how to grow food at home from local grower Amanda Vanhoozier. Presented by Keep Coppell Beautiful. 

Two class times offered: 9:30 – 11 am OR 11:30 am – 1 pm.  Space is limited. Click here to register in advance. Admission fee is $5. 


​Free Grief Bridge Workshop

February 29  |   9:45 am   |   Generate Life Church – 111 Samuel Blvd

Come bring your heartbreak and find hope! Doors open at 9:45 am with Registration at 10 am and Opening Ceremony at 10:15 am. We will have Live Worship with God's Word on grief, grief work, express yourself, creative grief tools, candle lighting ceremony, connections and resources along with love and understanding! After the workshop we will go to lunch together to fellowship and share connections.
