Coppell Community Chorale – Spring Semester Rehearsal

January 8  |   7:00 pm   |   Coppell Center for the Arts

Non-Audition choir performs under the direction of Joshua Brown. Remaining performance dates for the Chorale's 2017 – 2018 season include "World of Song," a celebration of music from around the world, that will be held at Cozby Library and Community Commons on Saturday February 24, and the traditional spring concert "Forces of Nature" the weekend of May 12 at the Coppell Center for the Arts. Chorale rehearses Monday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, with the year running from August to May. Medical Screening Exams after 50

SPOT Screening

Lions Club members will conduct a preliminary screening on the children's eyes for various visual impairments. No prescriptions will be issued. A signed and completed waiver form is required for each child. For children 6 months to 5 years old and any child with special needs.

Library Board Meeting

The Library Board serves as an Advisory Board to the City Council. The Board is primarily responsible for making informed recommendations regarding library services and programs and for being a citizen interface to library staff. Meetings are open to the public. FCNP Guest Lecture – Benefits of Bees

Peer into the world of bees! If bees didn't exist in our world today, it would look like a very different place – and our lives wouldn't be nearly the same either. These industrious insects have been around for roughly 125 million years and although bee numbers are sadly declining, the remaining survivors continue to act as invaluable resources to our planet in numerous ways. Bee hobbyist Bruce Crozier will be talking about this fascinating insect. Admission is free.
