Treat your stuffed animal to an adventure at the library! Bring your stuffie with you to Storytime for stories and songs, then leave them for an overnight stay at the library. Could you survive on Mars? Your spaceship crashes and is badly damaged. Which items do you take with you to make it to the landing site? Undergo "Martian Training" in which you will compare and contrast the physical characteristics of Earth and Mars. At the end, you will see how well you would have survived the crash based on what supplies you chose. For adults 18 and older.

Dr. David Goodner, geology instructor at North Lake College, is returning to the Biodiversity Education Center podium to present his thoughtful presentation and hands-on tour of the Coppell Nature Park to describe the geology of our area and the fossils that comprise our specific archeological history. Dr. Goodner's presentations have been a big success within numerous CISD classrooms as well. This is a must-see presentation and is very popular with students and adults. Admission is free.

Let's help each other cross the bridge from Heartbreak to Hope, while taking our children forward with us, into the future, making new memories and new traditions. We end with a candle lighting ceremony and a butterfly release. Butterflies are $15 each and include a certificate with your child's name. A video will be posted of your butterfly's release.
Five Butterfly Scholarships are available on a first come basis for parents who cannot afford a butterfly. You must be present to receive the scholarship. With the help of Girl Scout Service Unit 112, more than 30,000 eggs will be up for grabs during the annual EGGstravaganza! Plan to arrive early and enjoy some fun activities, including: photos with the bunny, face painting, balloon artists and a craft booth hosted by the Coppell Arts Council. There will also be lots of inflatables, including a mini zip line and a 60-foot obstacle course.

The Sporting Clay Tournament is one of our most popular events – you won't want to miss it!
Sporting Clays is a form of clay pigeon shooting, often described as "golf with a shotgun." A typical course includes from 10 to 15 different shooting stations laid out over natural terrain. This is the perfect excuse to get out of the office and support a great cause.
Proceeds raised at this event will help our mission and support our Legacy Gift program.
