Screen Free Week

Children, families, schools and communities can rediscover the joys of life beyond the screen. Plan to unplug from digital entertainment and spend all that free time playing, daydreaming, creating, exploring and connecting with family and friends!
Pick up an activity card at the Library during Screen-Free Week. Return your card by Friday, May 11 for a chance to win a three-month pass from The CORE! For more details, visit the front desk.

Lego Club

Sahaja Yoga Meditation

Short Shorts

Revenge of the 5th

Coppell Youth Cheer - Jump, Tumble and Play/Parent’s Night Out

May 5  |  6 – 9 pm (Check-in time: 5:30 pm)  |  Texas Dreams Gymnastics, 117 Wrangler Dr., Suite 175, Coppell 
The cost is $25 ($20 for siblings) which includes a T-shirt and pizza. All participants are eligible to cheer at the annual 2018 Powder Puff Game held on Sunday, May 20. For ages 5-14. To register, visit www.coppellcheer.com.

The Coppell Alumnae Panhellenic Association Dinner/Meeting

The Coppell Alumnae Panhellenic Association (CAPA) will hold its Dinner Out/Meeting. After dinner, the slate of 2018-2019 officers will be announced and elections will take place. This will be the last CAPA meeting before summer break.

Open Mic Night

Mega Market

Enjoy a night of business, networking, door prizes and great food! Network with 50-60 businesses and present your 90-second pitch about your business, products and services, rotating from table to table during the event. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. A single registration is $30. However, if guests bring a non-Chamber member as a guest, both registrations are $20. CozbyCon

Historical Society Meeting

The Coppell Community Chorale presents “Forces of Nature”

Take a musical journey with the Coppell Community Chorale as they present “Forces of Nature” on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13 at the Coppell Center for the Arts. These performances will feature songs from across a variety of genres with an entertaining take on the different forces of natures in everyday life. Connections Luncheon – Coppell ISD Scholarship Awards

May 18  |  11:30 am – 1 pm  |  Coppell Senior and Community Center at Grapevine Springs
The Coppell Chamber of Commerce will celebrate local students who received scholarships during the May Community Luncheon. The guest speaker will be Carolyn Corbin, president of the Center for the 21st Century, a socioeconomic think tank, which provides speeches, executive briefings, consulting and organizational training in critical 21st-century issues.

Tickets are $25 if purchased in advance, $30 at the door. Contact the Coppell Chamber of Commerce for more information and to register.

Taste of Hope – a Benefit for Brain Tumor Patients

Walkathon for Train and Help Babies

Train and Help Babies is a certified nonprofit organization aimed at decreasing neonatal, children and maternal mortality, beginning in India. The organization is based in Coppell and current project implementation is in Karnataka state in India, with hopes make a world-wide impact.
