Coppell Women's Club

The Coppell Women's Club meets Wednesday, November 1st, at North Lake College on West Sandy Lake Road and Royal Lane. After the meet and greet at 9:30AM our speaker and the meeting begin at 10:0AM.  Our featured speaker is Amanda Austin, the first marketing manager of the Coppell Farmers Market, which is rated as one of the best in the metroplex.  She will speak on urban gardening and give us new insights into Coppell Farmers Market, as well. She will also have samples to share.

Assistance League - Kendra Scott Trunk Show

Make your wish list and Christmas list and join the Assistance League Coppell for a Kendra Scott Trunk Show Thursday, November 2nd from 7 - 9 PM at the home of Angie Gabehart 549 Leavalley Lane in Coppell.  Kendra Scott will donate 10% of all sales to support the programs of Assistance League Coppell.  You will also receive a 10% discount on your purchase.  What a way to support our community and shop for a cause. Assistance League Coppell provides clothing to children in CISD through Operation School Bell ® Clothe A Child and well as providing Drug Testing Kits free of charge to parents on request through the school or the website coppell.assistanceleague.org. Other programs are scholarships and drug and alcohol awareness programs.  Please RSVP at coppellassistanceleague@gmail.com or lonestarof@aol.com.  Bring a friend and drop by anytime on November 2nd.

Essential Oils

Hungry for Music? Sound Bites – Coppell Community Chorale

Hungry for Music? Join us as we mix our food and music together! Tickets are now on sale for the Coppell Community Chorale's Fall concert "Sound Bites."  In its second season under the direction of Joshua Brown, the Chorale once again explores their trademark variety of musical styles while paying tribute to food. Patrons will enjoys selections include classics "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" and "Be Our Guest" as well as unconventional selections "Mashed Potato Love Poem" and "Banquet Fugue." 

Performances will be held Saturday November 4 at 3PM and 7PM and Sunday November 5 at 3PM at the Coppell Center for the Arts located next to Austin Elementary at 157 S. Moore Road.  Buy tickets online at www.coppellcommunitychorale.com. Advance tickets are $10 for Adults 12 and older and $5 for Children 3-12. Tickets at the door are $12 for Adults and $7 for Children.

FCNP Guest Lecture – Dinosaur George

Dinosaur George is a traveling museum and assembly program that teaches school students and dinosaur enthusiast about the amazing creatures that once ruled our planet. With live visual relics and assembly programs, your event will become an event that will be remembered for a lifetime. Dinosaur George offers dinosaur relics of all kinds for those who collect our prehistoric history. From rare dinosaur replicas to children's dinosaur books and videos; Dinosaur George has something for everyone. This is an extremely popular presentation so seating is restricted to tickets purchased in advance online. The web site for purchase will be published in September. Two one-hour presentations --- one at 10 and one at 11 am. Admission is $5 per person.
