Park and Walk to Celebrate Coppell

Celebrate Coppell is right around the corner! Party in the Park is Saturday, June 29 at Andrew Brown Park East from 5 pm - 11 pm. Eventgoers will enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, games, and other fun activities. Celebrate Coppell is a pedestrian-friendly event and walking is encouraged!  Access the event site via trail, from Andrew Brown West and Coppell High School to the west, and from the north across the Denton Creek Bridge. Parkway Blvd. will be westbound only from Lodge Rd. to Heartz Rd. beginning at 4 pm. North Moore Rd. will close to thru traffic and will be accessible to residents only beginning at 4 pm. Vehicles traveling westbound on Parkway Blvd. may drop off passengers in front of the park and accessible parking will be available at the Andrew Brown Park East parking lot. Those using accessible parking should enter the lot from the east by traveling westbound on Parkway Blvd., from Moore Rd. When leaving the parking lot, all traffic will be diverted right onto Parkway Blvd. and travel west to Heartz Rd.

The fun continues July 4 with Celebrate Coppell – Parade at 9AM.  The parade begins at Samuel Blvd. and Sandy Lake Rd., travels north on Samuel to Parkway Blvd., then heads west to Town Center Blvd. Due to construction on Parkway Blvd., check the Celebrate Coppell website for information on the best viewing locations and line the parade route early for the best spot to view the red, white and blue floats go by! Intersections along the parade route will be closed prior to the approaching parade and remain closed until all entries have passed.
