We have some updates on the Parkway Blvd. Reconstruction project!
Tiseo Paving will continue the panel replacements along the righthand lane of eastbound Parkway Blvd. from Denton Tap to Heartz. Consequently, the main driveway entrance in front of Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway, will be demolished beginning Wednesday, January 15, weather permitting. Please use the entrance off Town Center Blvd. or the eastern most driveway entrance along Parkway to access Town Center. Access is expected to be available 5-10 days from the demolition start date.
Parkway Median Trees
The City of Coppell sincerely tried to save the median trees along Parkway Blvd. However, due to the adverse distress of construction, the trees will be removed beginning Wednesday, January 15. We understand how unfortunate this removal is to the residents who travel this corridor from Lodge to the CORE. The Coppell Public Works Department, the landscape architect, and the City’s arborist are working to address an appropriate landscape plan to satisfy the aesthetic demands of the existing landscape design.
The sidewalk paving will continue with a change in the plans along Parkway from Moore Road to Parkview. Tiseo Paving will extend the paving from the back of sidewalk/bike path to the edge of the curb. There will be two feet of buffer between the curb and the official bike path. Inside the buffer will be a stamped concrete brick running bond pattern to provide the demarcation from road to bike path for safety reasons.
