Rolling Oaks To Honor Military and Veterans
Rolling Oaks Memorial Center will host a special Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 28, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., to honor military veterans and their service to our country. Keynote Speaker Colonel Ronald P. Forest, retired US Army veteran, will address those in attendance. During his 30-year military career, Colonel Forest served in command and staff positions in Korea, Vietnam, Germany, and various stateside posts prior to his assignment to Washington, D.C. While in our Nation’s Capitol, he worked in the Pentagon on the Army Staff and for the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), followed by a tour of duty at the On-Site Inspection Agency (OSIA), Office, Secretary of Defense (OSD).
