Introducing the new World Languages Collection

The Cozby Library and Community Commons is proud to announce that it is a Texas Book Festival 2020 Library Grant recipient. The grant awards the library $2,500 to purchase adult books written in Spanish and Hindi. These books will be part of the forthcoming World Languages Collection. Based on survey responses from our community, the World Languages Collection will also include children’s books in Spanish, French, simplified Chinese, and Hindi.

The Texas Book festival's mission is to promote literacy and support Texas libraries. Since 1996, the organization has funded 1,169 grants totaling over $3 million to 600+ libraries across the state of Texas.
