PLEASE NOTE: Coppell Parks and Recreation is not currently accepting Eagle Scout Service Project submissions. Please check back in Spring 2022 for more information on how to submit your project proposal.
Coppell Parks and Recreation is proud to act as a beneficiary to Eagle Scout Service Projects completed within the parks system. Eagle Scouts inquiring about a service project are encouraged to visit all parks and trails systems and brainstorm a project to propose.
One of the primary purposes of the Eagle Scout service project is to learn and enhance leadership skills. Per the Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook, parents and others may help, but the Scout must be the leader and primary point of contact throughout the project. All proposed project concepts must be pre-approved by Coppell Parks and Recreation prior to planning and proceeding with the Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook.
Please note that the Parks and Recreation Department has limited resources and may not be able to accommodate all project proposals.
