Jim is Chambers rated and designated a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters (limited to 5% of Texas lawyers) in the area of business litigation. Jim received his J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law and a B.A in political science, economics, and business from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.
Jim and his wife of 40 years, Cherie, who has successfully run the Jon D. Williams Cotillion program in Coppell for the past 20 years, raised their two daughters in Coppell and have lived here since 1998. Jim and Cherie attend church at Valley Ranch Baptist Church where Jim serves as a deacon.
Cherie and I consider ourselves blessed to have raised our family in such a beautiful community surrounded by so many wonderful friends. As a member of Council, I will work hard to ensure our residents continue to enjoy the same quality of life Coppell has made possible for our family for the past 25 years.
