Indoor Pool
Open Year-Round
The indoor pool is available for lap lane and play feature usage.

Current indoor pool hours are as follows:
- Monday - Friday: 5 am to 8 pm
- Saturday: 8 am to 6 pm
- Sunday: 1 pm to 6 pm
Outdoor Pool
The outdoor pool is closed for the 2023 season. Join us next year on Memorial Day Weekend for summer 2024!

Inclement Weather: Staff monitors weather conditions with real-time lightning information. If lightning occurs within a 5-mile radius of The CORE, the indoor pool will close. The pools will reopen 30 minutes after the most recent lightning strike within that radius. Please check our pool hotline to hear a recording of the most updated closure information.
Group Swim Lessons
The CORE offers swim lessons for all levels! Group swim lessons are offered for children and adults to help you reach your swimming goals. Children’s group swim lessons are held in the indoor pool, run two days a week for four weeks, and are offered on Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday in the evenings. Preschool and Beginner classes are free to Coppell residents. Adult group swim lessons are held one day a week on Wednesday evenings. Sessions will be offered in September, October, and November.
Private Swim Lessons
Are you looking to work one-on-one with a swim instructor? Private swim lessons are available for ages 3 and up! Private lessons are held 1 day a week for four weeks on Saturdays and Sundays. Sessions are offered in September, October, and November.
Water Safety Month!
May is National Water Safety Month! Check out these tips to help you and your family safely splash into fun!
Water Safety Tips:
1) Number 1 rule, walk by the pool.
2) Adult supervision is a must.
3) When in the water, wear US Coast Guard approved lifejacket.
4) Take time for break time - eat snacks, go to the bathroom and reapply sunscreen.
5) Listen to what the lifeguard tells you. Trained lifeguards are here to help!
6) When thunder roars. go indoors.
7) Be sun smart - wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen.
8) If something falls in, call an adult to get in.

Virtual Swim Lessons
For those that would prefer to practice from home, our staff has provided lessons to keep children safe in and near the water! Virtual Swim lessons are designed to teach basic swimming skills using a bathtub and other items found at home. Click on the links below to view PDFs and videos.
