The City of Coppell received notification that confirmed the presence of West Nile Virus (WNV) in mosquito traps located in the 440 block of Cooper Lane. Dallas County Health and Human Services will conduct targeted spraying on Route 6 between 9 pm and 5 am on Tuesday, June 27, and Wednesday, June 28, weather permitting.
Spraying will occur in Route 6 on the Mosquito Control Activity Map.
Route 6 is enclosed by Hailfax Drive/Fieldcrest Loop the north, S. Heartz Road/Meadow Creek/E Bethel Road to the east, Southwestern Boulevard to the south, and Freeport Prakway to the west.
If spraying is not possible on these days due to rain, crews will spray on the next available evenings.
