Please join the City of Coppell on the steps of Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd., at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 11, for the annual Patriot Day Ceremony honoring and remembering those injured or killed during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The remembrance will feature the Coppell Fire and Police Color Guards, along with the Fire Department Bagpipe and Drum Corps, who will honor and pay tribute to public safety agencies and all military personnel. As part of the ceremony, volunteers will be asked to help public safety personnel and city staff read off the names of first responders killed during the attack. Volunteers will be asked to come forward during the ceremony, if desired. There is no need to register or sign up.

"We invite all of our residents and community partners to come out and join us in this observance of a day that will forever be imprinted on our hearts," said Coppell Fire Chief Kevin Richardson. “As time goes by, it becomes increasingly crucial to honor the memory of the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.”

Please email the Coppell Fire Department or call 972-304-3512 with any questions.
