[ARCHIVED] Severe Winter Weather Expected

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in effect from late in the night on Saturday, February 13 through the afternoon of Monday, February 15. Dangerously cold temperatures are expected. Residents should expect more wintry weather, with potential impacts to travel and other daily activities.

Take precautions now to secure pipes and anything susceptible to the extreme cold. Have plenty of food on hand and ways to stay warm in case of power outages. If you experience a power outage, report it to Oncor in the following ways:

Additional freezing drizzle expected, and minor accumulations possible.

Saturday, February 13

Patchy freezing drizzle possible with a chance of snow and sleet in the evening. 

Sunday, February 14

Snow possible, mostly after noon. Dangerously cold temperatures in the evening and throughout the night. 

Monday, February 15

Snow possible before noon. Dangerously cold temperatures.
