Due to the severe winter weather, all City of Coppell facilities, with the exception of the CORE, are closed to the public through Friday, February 19. City services are available on our website, and staff is available by phone and email. View Directory   

The City of Coppell’s main line, 972-462-0022, will be manned by staff and available to residents 24/7 until further notice. While the other phone numbers previously published will still be answered, residents in need of water shut off are encouraged to call 972-462-0022 for assistance. Operators are also available to answer general questions and provide updated information. In the event of an emergency, call 911.

Trash & Recycling Service

Republic Services has announced that they will be unable to resume residential trash and recycling pickup on Friday due to alleyway conditions. Republic plans to resume commercial service in order to clear inedible food from grocery store and restaurant dumpsters on Friday. Residential service is expected to resume on Monday. Parks & Recreation Facilities

Wagon Wheel Tennis Center 

The tennis center will remain closed while temperatures are at or below freezing. 

Biodiversity Education Center

The Biodiversity Education Center is closed. EcoExplorer scheduled for Saturday, February 20 is canceled. 

The CORE

The CORE is OPEN to the public as a warming center.

Coppell Arts Center

The Coppell Arts Center is closed.

Cozby Library & Community Commons

The library is closed. The library will contact patrons to reschedule appointments. 

Coppell Justice Center

Coppell Municipal Court

The Coppell Municipal Court is closed. Virtual court is still being held. If you are scheduled for court and are having connection issues please email the court. The Court will approve resets due to power and connectivity issues. The court will assess the weather issues on a daily basis, if you have an appointment this week please contact the court before coming to your appointment due to potential closures. If you have citations due while the court is closed due to weather, you will be provided opportunities to handle citations once the court reopens without penalty.

Coppell Records Division

The Records Division is closed. 

Coppell Animal Services

Coppell Animal Services is closed.

Covid-19 Testing Location at Andy Brown Park Central

All Texas Department of Emergency Management state-supported Covid-19 testing sites, including the location at Andy Brown Park Central, are closed

Covid-19 Vaccination Operations

Dallas County’s Fair Park vaccine operations will resume on Sunday, February 21 from 1-6 pm. Dallas County will be providing second doses to those who were due for their second dose on or before Friday, February 12. If you last name starts with the letters A-M, the County asks that you arrive between 1 – 3:30 pm on Sunday. If your last name starts with the letters N-Z, please arrive between 3:30 – 6 pm.

On Monday, February 22, Fair Park will be open from 8 am – 5 pm and providing second doses to those due on or before Saturday, February 13. For those arriving on Monday, please plan to come around the same time you received your first dose.
