Fair Park Vaccination Site Update from Dallas County: February 25

Vaccine operations have continued at Dallas County’s Fair Park drive-thru site this week following closures from last week’s winter weather event. In an effort to catch up on delayed second doses as soon as possible, Dallas County has released the following schedule. The County asks all residents to please be patient as there are many who need their second dose. The County must space out individuals to ensure timely and safe delivery.

Due for second dose on February 17 or earlier. Please plan to arrive around the same time you received your first dose.

Friday, February 26

Due for second dose on February 22 or earlier. Please plan to arrive around the same time you received your first dose.

Due for second dose on February 23 or earlier. Please plan to arrive around the same time you received your first dose.

Sunday, February 28

Due for second dose on February 25 or earlier. Please plan to arrive around the same time you received your first dose.

The CDC guidance is that second doses of the vaccine may be administered up to 6 weeks after the first dose. While the County plans to accommodate those needing a second dose much sooner than that, please know that the CDC does allow for a 42-day timeframe.
