Celebrate Coppell: Parade Down Parkway
July 3 | 9 am
The Parade Down Parkway kicks off at 9 am and begins at Samuel Blvd. and Sandy Lake Rd., travels north on Samuel to Parkway Blvd., then heads west to Town Center. Intersections along the parade route will be closed prior to the approaching parade and remain closed until all entries have passed. Spectators may find the best viewing locations and line the parade route early for the best spot to see the red, white, and blue floats go by on the Celebrate Coppell website!
Celebrate Coppell: Party in the Park

Come out to Andrew Brown Park East at 5 pm for Celebrate Coppell: Party in the Park! Eventgoers will enjoy live music by Rubiks Groove and Big City Outlaws, lawn games, and delicious food truck fare. The fireworks spectacular, choreographed to patriotic music, begins at 9:30 pm. Celebrate Coppell: Party in the Park is a pedestrian-friendly event and walking is encouraged. Event attendees may access the event site via trail, from both Andrew Brown Central and West, as well as Coppell High School to the west, and from the north across the Denton Creek Bridge. Passenger drop-off will be located at The CORE. Accessible parking will be available at the Andrew Brown East parking lot.

Amon Carter, Jr., was generous, wealthy, friend of Presidents, and an eccentric. His loyalty to his hometown Fort Worth prompted him to compete with neighboring Dallas. Legend has it that when he had to attend a function in Big D, he would eat from his own sack lunch so that he didn’t have to consume Dallas food. Out of respect for his preference not to walk the streets of Dallas, this play is not performed within the Dallas city limits, and Theatre Coppell is proud to produce this show for the first time in Dallas County. Please arrive with enough time to complete activities before the close time. This program is FREE of charge and registration is not required.
Indoor Storytime

All ages are welcome at Storytime, which incorporates stories, songs, rhymes, and more into a fun and interactive experience. Registration is required and will open a week in advance. Please register each attendee, adult and children.
EcoExplorer

The EcoExplorer program is venturing outdoors. Activity Kits will be available for pick up at the office window during visitor hours. Kits contain instructions and materials to complete learning activities throughout the trails of Coppell Nature Park. Themes change weekly and will be posted on the BEC Facebook page. Limit one kit per child. Take your trail experience up a notch! Boredom Busters

Are you missing crossword puzzles? Do you miss doing Sudoku and word searches? Come on over to the Coppell Senior Center on the last Friday of every month and pick up a boredom buster brainfit packet with some crosswords, Sudoku puzzles and more. Intended for adults ages 50+.
