Trunk or Treat at The CORE

Put on your favorite costume and grab your goodie basket/bucket! The CORE parking lot is the place to be for this year's trick or treat fun! Stop by decorated cars for a fun, safe & interactive trick or treat experience. No registration required! Interested in decorating your truck to hand out goodies? Let your creativity flow, as you decorate your car trunk (or truck) at our fall event. The cost to register is free and a contest will be held for the best-decorated car to win a grand prize! Assisteens October Meeting

Assisteens is Assistance League of Coppell’s teen auxiliary. Open to CISD students and Coppell residents in grades 7-12, Assisteens offers students the opportunity to make a difference in our community. In the past year, Assisteens members have mentored elementary age CISD students, made blankets for residents of St. Joseph and River Oaks Assisted Living Centers, collected shoes for Soles4Soles, and volunteered with Sack Summer Hunger. Coppell Lions Club General Meeting

Each meeting includes the discussion of current and planned activities, as well as frequent guest speakers who discuss issues in and around Coppell, North Texas and Texas as a whole. Meetings are open to anyone that would like to attend. You can contact the club and arrange for a member to sponsor you into the meeting.
Cranium Cardio

Fitness isn’t just about squats, lunges, and cardio – it’s also about staying mentally nimble. Join us as we engage the brain in thinking tasks to help build brain connections. Think of it as “Cranium Cardio”. Remember more, concentrate better, and think sharper, while having fun in the process! This program will be on Zoom and in person at the Senior Center. Intended for Coppell Senior & Community Center members (ages 50+).
Craft Casual: Paper Garland

Learn to create a paper garland with a variety of hanging ornaments made of recycled maps. This simple idea can be used to make all kinds of decorations. All supplies provided by the library. This program is for adults 18 and up. Participants must register.

Knit Wits Fiber Arts Group

Outdoor Storytime

Grab a blanket and join Cozby Library and Community Commons for storytime outdoors in Town Center Plaza! They will sing, dance, and enjoy stories. Please stay together with your group and maintain social distancing from others. All ages welcome. Town Center Plaza is located behind the library. They will be by the Storybook Walk, near the YMCA. In the event of adverse weather, storytime will be canceled.

Vendors feature grass-fed meats and poultry, organic eggs, artisan breads, honey, and other specialty products.
