Coppell Youth Soccer

Spring Season Registration for Youth, Adult Co-Ed, and Adult Men’s 7v7 is OPEN. Visit Coppell Youth Soccer online for more information and to register. 

 

SewaDiwali Food Drive

Through November 21  |  Multiple locations

Members of SewaDiwali, an initiative by Dharmic communities, individuals and organizations who believe in the Sewa Dharma, i.e. Service to Humanity is Service to Divinity, are hosting a food drive. Donations of canned/packaged food and hygiene items can be dropped off at Patel Brothers and India Bazaar grocery stores, or at the following locations 9 am – 9 pm:

  • 858 Cheshire Dr., Coppell
  • 10314 Lakebreeze Rd., Irving
  • 10410 Mateo Trail, Irving

Collected items will be donated to Metrocrest Services. 

 

Municipal Courts Week

November 1 – 5  |  Coppell Municipal Court, 130 Town Center Blvd.

Stop by the Coppell Municipal Court from 9 am to 2 pm on Monday, November 1, Wednesday, November 3 or Friday, November 5 to learn more about the court and its role in the community. Coppell Municipal Court staff will be available to answer questions and give away free materials and goodies!

 

Coppell Alumnae Panhellenic Association’s Jeanne Heath Memorial Scholarship

November 1 - 15

The Coppell Alumnae Panhellenic Association announces it is accepting applications for the Jeanne Heath Memorial Scholarship for Sorority Actives. If you are an active collegiate member of an NPC sorority and reside within Coppell or the CISD boundaries, you may download more information and the application form by visiting us online and clicking on Scholarship. Please email any questions to CAPA Scholarship Committee Chairman, Betsy Wilcox. Deadline for submission is November 15, 2021

 

Make A Child Smile

November 1-30  |  Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd.

Stop by the City Manager’s Office in Coppell Town Center to choose an ornament off the tree, or go online to choose a virtual ornament and grant a child’s wish this holiday season! The City is also collecting donations for local seniors in the form of $50 Wal-Mart gift cards. Wrapped gifts and gift cards must be returned with child’s information and family number attached to the City Manager’s Office by 5 pm, Monday, December 6. Coppell Historical Society – Open House

November 12  |   10 am – Noon   |   Kirkland House

Kirkland House and the Minyard Store at Coppell Heritage Park are open to the public on the second Saturday of most months from 10 am to noon. The Old Minyard Store will have old-fashioned candy and postcards of historic Coppell for sale.

Assistance League of Coppell Meeting

November 18  |   11:30 am   |   Valley Ranch Baptist Church

Assistance League Coppell is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which has transformed the lives of children and adults in the Coppell area for over 20 years through a wide range of philanthropic programs. Our chapter consists of both adult members and a recently added Assisteens auxiliary, which provides intermediate and high school students with opportunities for community service. Social time starts at 11:30 am and the meeting begins at noon. Lunch is provided.
