[ARCHIVED] City of Coppell's Block'n Roll Block Party Trailer Makes Debut

Block'n Roll Trailer old townThe City of Coppell’s block party trailer is officially ready to roll! Created to help neighbors connect, the Block’n Roll Block Party Trailer is available to registered Homeowner’s Associations (HOAs), Neighborhood Associations or community service organizations and contains everything you need to host a block party from tables to games. Best of all, the use of the trailer is free.

Eligible block party planners can reserve the 16-foot trailer online or by phone up to six months in advance and no later than two weeks before the party date. City staff will deliver the Block‘n Roll Trailer packed full of party supplies including folding tables and chairs, canopies, coolers and lawn games such as giant Jenga, ladder ball and bean bag toss. Staff will also arrange a time to pick up the trailer after the party.

“We encourage community building and wanted to provide a way to make it a little easier to host a gathering for neighbors to get to know each other,” said Mary Paron-Boswell City of Coppell Senior Planner and Block ‘n Roll coordinator. “The Block’n Roll Trailer takes care of the hassle of gathering all the supplies for a block party and allows residents to just enjoy meeting new friends and mingling with their neighbors.”

To reserve the Block’n Roll Trailer for your next block party, go to coppelltx.gov/blockparty to review the additional guidelines, check the calendar for availability and submit an application along with the required waiver and block party permit forms. For questions, or to reserve by phone, please call 972-393-ROLL (7655).
