• Creation and review of specifications for new and replacement vehicles and equipment

• Repair and maintenance of all Coppell mobile assets, from turf equipment to fire apparatus

• Our Clean Fleet Policy addresses the acquisition, operation and disposal of all mobile equipment.
• Replacement vehicles and equipment must be the newest model-year available.
• Replacement vehicles and equipment must be cleaner than the vehicles and equipment being decommissioned.
• The procurement of new vehicles and equipment are the cleanest platform available to meet the customer’s needs.
• The vehicle fleet includes gasoline/electric hybrid vehicles along with all-electric vehicles.
• Idle Policy limits vehicular idling to 3 minutes with minimal exceptions.
• All diesel-powered vehicles and equipment operate on ASTM D 6751 B-20 Bio-Diesel fuel.

Four certified Fleet Technicians/Emergency Vehicle Technicians, one Inventory Control Specialist, and one Fleet Services Manager are the staff members that maintain Fleet Services.
