  2. Document Shredding

    April 24, 2021, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Coppell Service Center

    Have your documents safely shredded and recycled by PROSHRED! Bring up to four boxes (maximum size of each box is 9" x 12" x 17", or the size of a bankers box) to the Coppell Service Center, 816 S. Coppell Road, between the hours of 8 am and noon. All shredded paper will be recycled, and your container will be returned to your trunk or backseat. Residents are encouraged to come early to ensure space in the truck for their documents.

  3. Japanese Inspired Snacks (Virtual)

    Learn to make three delicious snacks inspired by Japanese cooking- green tea mochi, yaki onigiri, and dorayaki. You will also get tips on where to find supplies and how to learn more about Japanese cooking and culture. This is a watch and learn class so bring something to take notes. Recipes will be provided digitally after registration closes. While this class is designed primarily for adults, teens age 13 and up are welcome to join. This will be a virtual class held on Zoom. A link to the class will be provided in your registration confirmation and again by e-mail after registration closes.

  2. ecoCoppell Earthfest

    Celebrate the great outdoors at the City of Coppell’s annual ecoCoppell Earthfest! The community celebration of Coppell’s commitment to the environment highlights the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy earth for future generations and educates residents on ways to lead more environmentally sustainable lifestyles. A variety of interactive booths will cover topics such as waste reduction, water conservation, air quality, and conserving natural resources, as well as numerous ways the public can reduce their impact on the environment. Organic plants will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to the Coppell Community Garden. The entire family will enjoy many activities at the Biodiversity Education Center and throughout Coppell Nature Park, including a composting demonstration, sustainable craft kits, eco-friendly giveaways, and other hands-on activities for all ages! Masks and physical distancing of 6ft. are encouraged at all times during the event.

    Join us for free live music outside on Grove once a month at the Arts Center! WATUSI will be performing from 6 pm to 8 pm. Enjoy the music, mingle with friends and purchase a cold drink from Macklin's Catering Co. or food from the Caribbean Cajun Food Truck and Marble Slab Creamery at the Arts Center during this free outdoor concert.
